Battle Royale

Synopsis-

42 school children are made to fight for their lives on a deserted island. They are given supplies at random, and must work with what they have. There is no way around not fighting, as they have explosive collars on their neck which will blow up if they try anything. The rule is to kill everyone until there is only one person left, the last person standing gets to go home. This was set up by the government, they choose one class in Japan to fight on the island; they call it 'Battle Royale'.

Main characters-

1- Shuya Nanahara is a male, 15 years old. His role is the protector/ hero. His dramatic motivation is to protect Noriko.

2- Noriko Nakagawa is a female, 15 years old. Her role is like the princess, as everyone protects her. Her dramatic motives are that she likes Kitano.

3- Shogo Kawada is a male, 16 years old. His role is the hero. His dramatic motives are that he had already won in a battle royale, and lost his girlfriend as a result - so now wants to find out what she meant when she died.


Genre-

The genre is action and drama. It portrays these themes via arguments between characters being very dramatic and deep, and the action is of course from the violence and fighting.


The main three acts-

act one: Normal school life.
act two: the beginning of the battle royale, in which everyone is panicking and doesn't know what to do.
act three: in which the main characters survive and go back home.
